**What will I be doing?**

The Housekeepers and Public Area Cleaners are responsible for the cleaning and servicing of our apartments, public areas and staff accommodation.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Daily cleaning and servicing of apartments, public areas and staff accommodation
- Ensuring the safe and effective use of cleaning products and equipment
- Ensuring the correct handling of guest property and lost items
- Responding to special requests and reporting maintenance issues with urgency
- Maintaining linen cupboards and housekeeping trollies
- Laundering of linen
- Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation

**What are we looking for?**

Housekeepers & Public Area cleaners at Breathtaker Hotel and Spa are always working on behalf of our guests and working with other team members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills and values that follow;
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
- Good communication skills, including a good command in English
- Ability to work under pressure and work within time constraints
- An eye for detail
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Complete tasks as directed, efficiently and effectively
- Ability to work individually and in a team
- Good time management skills
- Flexibility to work early and/or late shifts is essential
- Reliable, honest, trustworthy and physically fit
- Excellent grooming standards
- It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions;_
- Extensive experience in a similar role in a 4-5 star hotel/resort
- Australian resident or must have a current working visa for Australia
- Seasonal Work - must be available from June 2025 to end of September 2025
