The Principal Consultant, Workforce Performance reports to the Executive Manager, Workforce Performance and is responsible for assisting with high-level advice, support, and practical assistance to senior leaders and regional HR practitioners on complex workforce management matters, focusing on early intervention and resolution.Role BenefitsThis role is located at our Head Office in Kedron (Brisbane Northside).
Kedron-based roles offer benefits such as free onsite parking, access to the onsite pool and gym, onsite cafe, home mortgage salary packaging, and flexible work arrangements.Key AttributesKnowledge of employment legislation, workforce frameworks, awards, agreements, policies, and guidelines to develop strategies for managing employment matters and statewide policies.Experience partnering with managers at all levels to provide technical and strategic advice on complex employment issues.Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and provide solutions for workforce and employee matters.Ability to provide authoritative advice and support capability development among statewide HR practitioners and management to improve employment outcomes.Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.Mandatory RequirementsMay require travel on official business; possession of a C-class driver's license may be necessary.Possession of tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in human resources or a related field is highly regarded.Applications remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/649367/25Closing Date: Wednesday, 30th July 2025Occupational group: HR & Industrial Relations
