As a Principal Project Officer, you will play a key role in shaping and supporting capital planning and infrastructure proposal development across government.
You'll work closely with agencies and Government-Owned Corporations to ensure proposals are strategically aligned with Queensland's infrastructure priorities and meet best-practice standards.You'll provide expert advice and assurance throughout the proposal lifecycle, helping to lift capability and improve outcomes for Queenslanders.
This is a chance to make a meaningful impact on the state's infrastructure investment decisions.
Your ResponsibilitiesEngage with agencies to support the development and assurance of capital plans and infrastructure proposals.Provide strategic advice aligned with the Infrastructure Proposal Development Policy and Business Case Development Framework.Deliver high-quality feedback, briefings, reports, and correspondence on infrastructure matters.Promote continuous improvement and build communities of practice to share best practice approaches.Represent the department in meetings and forums, advocating for robust planning and assessment.Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, supporting colleagues and organisational priorities.
