Experience the rewards of making a difference in older people's lives by showing compassion and care.The opportunityThe Royal Freemasons community is looking for experienced and motivated Food Services Assistants (FSA) to join our team at Mount Martha Valley Residential Aged Care Facility located in Safety Beach.The FSA is responsible for the safe provision of quality food and beverage services to our residents, ensuring the individual nutritional requirements and preferences of each resident are met.
This role is also essential in supporting the overall well-being of residents by creating an enjoyable dining experience to support residents to take pleasure in, and consume, their meals.Key Responsibilities IncludeMaking sure that the dining rooms are well kept, tables are neatly presented,Preparation, serving, presentation and delivery of food and beverages in accordance with the Food Safety Program.Ensuring that the correct food and beverages are served to each resident according to their dietary/specialised nutritional requirements.Ensure a high standard of customer service, always including presenting in a professional manner when interacting with residents during meal services.Key RequirementsIt is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.All Aged Care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and to receive the Flu-Vaccine.Food Handling Certificate.BenefitsMore take-home pay with competitive salary packaging options up to $15,990, Novated leasing, plus an optional Meals and Entertainment card up to $2,650 per annumConfidential access to our Employee Assistance ProgramFree onsite parkingWhy work for Royal Freemasons?
