About us

The great wine regions of the old world form a formidable ring around the European Alps. These regions, along with many others from all over the old and new world of wine fill our 400+ strong wine library at The Alps Wine Shop and Bar. We believe strongly in the idea that wine should represent the place from which it was grown and the seasons that pass through that place in any given year.

There are always 20 ever rotating wines available by the glass as well as 400+ more to choose from by the bottle. All to be enjoyed alongside thoughtful plates of food designed for wine.

About the role

As a front of house team member you will be responsible for making sure our guests are welcomed into the space and taken care of every time they visit. You will be knowledgeable on the product we serve, have a true passion for hospitality and the wine industry, and a desire to continue to learn.

Who we are looking for
- Previous experience working in a hospitality venue of a similar nature
- You have a strong passion for service and wine, an understanding of the wine industry, local and internationally, WSET education would be preferred but not a deal breaker.
- An authentic person willing to get stuck in and be a team player
- A genuine desire to learn and expand your knowledge is a must.
- Must be available Friday - Monday
