Principal Support Officer

**The position of Principal Support Officer is required to**:
- Supervise and manage individuals and teams in both CBD based and geographically dispersed locations across Queensland within a technical service delivery environment. Allocate routine tasks and/or project work. Provide direction, support and guidance as necessary, in line with individual's skills and abilities.
- Develop and manage effective working relationships within the workgroup, providing effective feedback to ensure optimum performance. Manage working relationships with internal and external clients.
- Provide high level advice, coordination, support and recommendations to the Manager, Desktop and Unified Communications Support Unit regarding management and workgroup issues.
- Manage the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement and review of corporate systems, policies, and procedures to meet the current and future business needs of the unit.
- Act as the escalation point for team members in the provision of technical support (on-site, remote, telephone, online support) to local and geographically dispersed clients across Queensland.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster.
