Site Reliability Engineer - Enterprise Cloud Platforms This is a Senior Cloud Database Engineer role with NICE based in Sydney, NSW, AU.

Role Seniority: Senior Position Overview: The Senior Cloud Database Engineer will ensure SQL Server database performance and availability in a 24x7 environment.
Key Responsibilities: Manage SQL Server databases, including installation, configuration, upgrades, monitoring, and maintenance.
Perform database and application tuning.
Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies.
Implement and maintain database security.
Create, maintain, and monitor SQL.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years managing SQL Server mission-critical databases.
5+ years of TSQL programming.
2+ years implementing and maintaining database replication and SQL Server Availability Groups.
Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills: Experience with SSAS/SSRS/SSIS.
Familiarity with data/streaming platforms like Kafka, Snowflake, Aurora DB, etc.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Certifications like MCSE, MCDBA, OCP are advantageous.
Additional Information: This role requires NV1 Clearance or eligibility for NV1 clearance.
We offer flexible work arrangements with NICE-FLEX, allowing 2 days in the office and 3 days remote weekly.
