**ABOUT THE COMPANY**

JKAH is one of the most established providers of outsourced housekeeping services, with a strong reputation and long standing history of delivering a quality of service within the Hospitality industry.

**THE POSITIONS**

We currently have vacancies available for highly motivated **Housekeeping Attendants **who are able to work cohesively with the Housekeeping Departments across two Hotel sites located in the heart of Melbourne.

**QUALITY FOCUS**
- To ensure that all rooms are cleaned and presented in a consistent manner and in accordance with the standards of the hotel and Jani King
- To inspect all facilities, furniture and fixtures and report any items in need of maintenance or repair to your Supervisor immediately.
- To ensure all store rooms are maintained in a clean and tidy manner at all times
- To ensure your trolley is presented in a neat and tidy fashion at all times with no soiled linen lying in the corridor or on top of your trolley
- To clean and maintain all housekeeping cleaning equipment both during your shift and after use
- To ensure to record and report any lost property found in guest rooms as soon as possible to your Supervisor

**BUSINESS FOCUS**
- To be able to clean rooms consistently to the required standard and within the required timeframes.
- To be flexible with the days and hours you are available to work in order to fit in with needs of the business
- To record accurately the rooms that have been serviced and the checkout rooms that have been cleaned including the recording of the time taken to do so if required.
- To ensure that you report to work on time, in a clean uniform, name badge and appropriately groomed
- To record correctly your start and finish times for the day, including any meal breaks taken
- To ensure that you collect and sign for the appropriate floor master keys at the start of your shift and return them at the end of your shift
- To ensure your vacuum cleaners are clean and well maintained at all times and bags emptied on a regular basis.

**PEOPLE FOCUS**
- To develop and display an attitude and willingness to help others, in all dealings with hotel customers, fellow employees and hotel management
- To attend to any guest requests courteously and promptly, asking for assistance if required.
- To ensure all guest complaints and comments are noted and passed on to your supervisors in a timely manner
- To assist staff across all areas of the hotel as required
- To always greet guests you may encounter around the hotel with a smile and a warm greeting

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

The successful applicant/s will demonstrate the following attributes:

- A passion for providing excellent guest experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping in a Hotel is preferred
- Excellent communication
- High standard of cleanliness and reliability
- The ability to work well in a team
- Great listening skills
- Willingness to complete every task with high standards
- Strong understanding of work health and safety compliance
- Full availability over 7 days rotating roster

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $23.46 - $24.98 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Morning shift
- On call
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Housekeeping: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
