Steel Distributors seeking a Warehouse Manger in their Bendigo Branch

**Your new role**

To oversee and manage the warehouse and distribution operations on a day-to-day basis, including staffing, receiving, picking and packing, loading and unloading products to facilitate the smooth and efficient movement of goods to meet customer requirements in a timely manner
- To plan and implement the most efficient and cost-effective means of picking and packing product from warehouse to customer, in accordance with the Sales Service Charter and daily demands.
- Manage Warehousing & Distribution expenditure in accordance with budgeted costs.
- To review consumable usage and propose methods of cost reduction.
- Evaluate employees, conduct performance appraisals and recommend training programs appropriate for development.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and serviced routinely to minimise breakdowns.
- Develop and maintain positive interaction with all staff to optimise employee and departmental involvement in meeting objectives.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Knowledge of steel products
- Knowledge and experience in warehousing and distribution operations
- Management/Supervisory skills and experience
- Forklift licence
- Crane operation
