Key Responsibilities
As a seasoned backend engineer, you will:
Develop and maintain intelligent AI agents using Python, LangGraph, RAG pipelines, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Design and optimize Postgres database schemas, queries, and performance for production workloads.
Build robust APIs and maintain backend infrastructure with security, reliability, and scale in mind.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment.
Deploy and manage applications across cloud platforms including Render and Vercel.
Work with vector databases and semantic search systems to power intelligent agent capabilities.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
Strong Python skills - built and maintained backend systems or APIs and write clean, efficient code.
Intermediate-level Postgres experience - database design, complex queries, indexing, and performance optimization.
Solid understanding of CI/CD practices - automated pipelines, testing workflows, and deployment processes using GitHub Actions.
Hands-on deployment experience with modern platforms like Render, Vercel, or similar PaaS solutions.
Experience working with production-grade AI or strong interest in building agents using LLMs (LangChain/LangGraph, RAG, vector stores, etc.).
Problem-solving mindset - comfortable diving deep to debug, learn fast, and figure things out.
Strong collaboration and communication skills - thrive in a team setting.
