Cleaner

The Role

We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join the team at our Keperra Sanctuary Village located in Keperra QLD. This role will be working on a 12-month fixed term contract, part-time, for 25 hours per week. Shifts will run from 8AM-1PM, Monday through Friday.

Beautifully set between rolling green hills and the crystal-clear waters of the Coral, this location is conveniently within easy access to public transport and shopping precincts. This contemporary village is defined by its sense of community with friendly residents enjoying elegant living in a coastal location.

Your main responsibilities are:
- Ensure all communal areas and apartments are clean, tidy and presentable at all times- Ad-hoc duties such as tidying/maintaining outdoor areas- Provide tea and coffee during community events and assist with cleaning kitchen areas

Having a vibrant people-centric focus will see you thrive in this role, as will:
- Previous housekeeping and cleaning experience specifically within the retirement living, aged care or healthcare industry - Desirable- Knowledge of the use of equipment and chemicals associated with the role.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the capacity to work unsupervised.- Current Driver's License.- Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one).- Proactive, positive outlook - with a genuine interest in assisting our elderly residents

Please note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check, & will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April-October.
