Our civil contractor client is seeking an experienced General Manager to continue leading the company to success. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, including project management, financial performance and business development. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability, while ensuring we maintain the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement business strategies and plans to drive growth and profitability
- Oversee project management and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Implement and maintain systems and processes to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business management, civil engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the civil contractor industry
- Strong understanding of project management, financial management, and business development principles
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety regulations
