Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team as a Senior Cloud Architect. This role will focus on designing and building scalable cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems administration, container orchestration, and configuration management. Experience with DevOps practices, automation tools, and monitoring systems is also highly valued.
As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will work closely with the engineering team to expand knowledge and understanding of technologies used in the platform. You will take initiative to improve existing systems and code, provide support to internal teams, diagnose and problem-solve issues, and ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
6+ years of experience in building and operating large Linux-based web application environments.
Expertise in Linux systems administration, including solid scripting skills in Ruby, PHP, Python, or Bash.
Familiarity with container orchestration systems such as Docker, Nomad, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, or Google GKE.
Experience with database, document storage, and object storage systems.
Knowledge of configuration management systems like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
Experience with Infrastructure-As-Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Deployment Manager.
Understanding of monitoring, metrics gathering, error reporting, tracing, and logging systems.
