You possess a strong passion for quality, craftsmanship and home furnishing. You demonstrate a practical hands-on approach to your responsibilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable working with your hands and have no hesitation carrying out safe practical work including painting, drilling, installing and moving furniture and other physical tasks. You are able to meet set deadlines and a desire to seek opportunities to make improvements in the way we work and a willingness to learn. You are safety-focused and are able to take immediate action when safety is compromised. You demonstrate a keen eye for detail in order to support the creation of strong visual impression in the store. You will ideally have carpentry experience gained in a commercial business. You will have full-time availability and be able to work from 7:30am - 3:30pm including some weekends and public holidays.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Carpenter, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Supporting to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market through securing high-quality carpentry and paintwork all throughout the store.
- Following work briefs to implement custom display solutions, including painting, tiling, floor laying, wall install and the building of complex furniture installations.
- Secure high quality, simple and cost-conscious results in the execution of work by using best practises and following routines.
- Assisting the Communication & Interior team with ad hoc tasks and to ensure the store is always in shape as new.
