**About the role**:
We are currently seeking an Operations Technology Engineer in our Brisbane head office.

Reporting to the Director of OT, Analytics and Mine Support, the scope of your role will be to assist in the design, configuration and management of OT platforms in Australia.

**Duties will include**:

- Ensure compliance with all Peabody safety policies and practices.
- Work with business users to understand functional requirements and translate these into technical requirements
- Support the delivery of Operational Technology (OT) projects.
- Provide end user support and training for OT systems.
- Implement enhancements and extensions for OT systems.
- Occasional travel to site.

**About you**:

- Experience with OT platforms such as Fleet Management Systems, Downtime and Production platforms
- Experience with OT communications protocols - including but not limited to Modbus, OPC, MQTT
- General knowledge of SCADA/HMI and PLC control systems
- General knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure
- Proficiency in technical languages such as SQL, scripting and Python
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Server Operating systems
- Experience or a desire to learn presentation layer platforms such as Microsoft Sql Service Reporting Services and Power BI
- Must be willing to travelling to sites infrequently
