About The Opportunity
Conduct internationally recognised research, publish in top-tier journals, secure external funding, and build strategic collaborations with industry, government, and academia.
Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervise honours and postgraduate students, and lead curriculum development and assessment to enhance the student learning experience.
Provide leadership in School and University governance, contribute to strategic planning, represent UWA in academic and professional contexts, and support inclusion, diversity, and social impact initiatives.
About You
PhD in Economics or related field.
Track record of research excellence and sustained publications in top-ranked peer-reviewed journals.
Sustained major research funding success as lead investigator from competitive grant sources, industry, government, charities, and/or philanthropic sources.
Exhibit teaching excellence at the University level, including an emerging record of the development and delivery of curricula.
Experience in mentoring junior colleagues and tutors, where relevant.
Lead and collaborate with academic governance and department administrative matters.
