The role reports to Dr Kathleen Falster (Associate Professor, UNSW School of Population Health) and has no direct reports.

**Who you are**

Level A
- Postgraduate degree (or near completion) in epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, public health, psychology or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated track record of research in a health-related area, which has resulted in research outputs, such as academic publications, reports and/or conference presentations relative to opportunity.
- Demonstrated experience in the management and analysis of large, complex health datasets, including experience using statistical packages such as Stata, R and/or SAS.

Level B (in addition to above)
- PhD in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, data science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of work experience and qualifications.
- Highly developed data analysis skills, including demonstrated experience using statistical packages such as Stata, R and/or SAS to analyse linked health and/or human services datasets for research, evaluation and/or reporting purposes.
- Evidence of high-level communication skills in various formats, such as high-quality academic publications, reports, conference presentations, policy briefs, and infographics, in areas relevant to epidemiology, public health and/or health services research.
- Demonstrated high-level organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage workload within and busy environment and meet competing deadlines under limited supervision.
