We have an exciting opportunity for a customer-centric, solutions focused leader to join us as a Service Area Manager in Huntingwood, NSW. In this role, you'll be responsible for effectively managing a team of Linde Field and Site based Service Technicians.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
Your responsibilities:

- Review Technician skill sets and develop individual training plans as required.
- Develop a professional communication platform between Service Allocators and Technicians.
- Ensure Technicians are proficient in the use of Linde service systems and monitor and control Field Service Technician administration activities.
- Manage budget requirements to ensure service targets are achieved.
- Implement regular meeting schedule with Technicians both collective (through toolbox meetings) and on an individual basis to support and monitor performance.
- Carry our van stock takes as part of the annual plan.
- Manage Field Service Technician leave, including annual, personal and other leave management.
- Present repair and dehire quotes to customers and secure order numbers. Must gain minimum level of repair quotes accepted. Dollars to be set.
- Attend to debtor disputes where required and directed by the Service Manager.
- Visit customers on a regular call cycle to maintain service presence and present monthly reports to customers on their fleet and service performance.
- Carry out FST monthly KPI reviews and manage performance.

Requirements for success:

- Previous service management experience, minimum of 15 staff reports desirable.
- Trade background Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred but not mandatory.
- Diploma in Line Management/Supervision preferred but not mandatory.
- General product knowledge of materials handling equipment preferable.
- Practical engineering experience with operations background.
- Understanding of key fundamentals of a service business.
- Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team development skills
- A commercial understanding of general business concepts within a service industry.
- Ability to understand, formulate and manage budgets.
- Ability to review and analyses system data including P & Ls and ability to formulate Action Plans and timelines, use of spreadsheets essential.
