**Purpose of the role**

The Infrastructure and Systems Manager is an integral part of the Information Technology Team. The position
is responsible for the management, maintenance and upgrading of College's Infrastructure and Systems
ecosystem ensuring that College systems are reliable and available and meet the needs of the College
community.

The role will also work closely with the Head of ICT on projects, data and security and providing strategic
advise on the College's infrastructure and systems and area's of improvement to help deliver outcomes to all
stakeholders. The Infrastructure and Systems Manager will also work with any external providers that are
contracted or engaged. The role will also provide support, advise and assistance to the Service desk Team
when necessary.

- System Administration Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS
- VMware vSphere management
- Server and Storage Management
- Server OS
- Networking Lan/WAN and Switching including configuration VLAN management

- Microsoft Exchange Server
- Microsoft Exchange Online
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
- Azure AD
- Network Security fundamentals and best practices
- Management of the College Standard Operation Environment (SOE)
- Image / device deployment technologies (SCCM, Endpoint Manager / InTune)
- Escalations from Service Desk Team
- Documentation

**Skills and Attributes**
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage independently or under guidance
- Demonstrated high-level problem solving skills
- Work collaboratively
- High customer service ethos

**Experience/Pre-requisites**
- 3 + years of experience in a similar role
- Strong Server / Storage, VMware, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Networking knowledge
- and experience- Microsoft 365, Exchange and Azure AD
- Security fundamentals and best practice knowlege

**Qualifications**
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or similar
- Microsoft, VMware and CCNA certification preferable
- Current Working with Children Check and/or willingness to obtain
