Join Our Team as an Insurance & Underwriting Manager
Are you an experienced professional with a passion for insurance and operational excellence? We are looking for a dynamic Insurance & Underwriting Manager to join our team and drive and continuously improving simple by design insurance administration services and supporting processes, in collaboration with our third party providers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Full responsibility for Insurance administration and underwriting services, including monitoring end-to-end processes performed by third-party partners
- Design and implement robust administration processes and services for our insurance products.
- Manage third-party partners to ensure optimal delivery and services.
- Oversee insurance administration (excluding claims) and underwriting functions.
- Ensure business rules are current and effectively implemented.
- Serve as the escalation point for issues and incidents, managing remediation and future preventative controls.
- Collaborate with our underwriting partner to oversee the underwriting
- **Experience**:Has significant prior experience in insurance administration and operations management. Ideally will have worked on large-scale remediations and transition programs.
- **Knowledge**:Deep understanding of superannuation, insurance legislation, product design, and policy interpretation.
- **Skills**:Proven ability to identify and execute process improvements and performance uplifts.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:Exceptional skills in engaging and negotiating with senior internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
- **Reporting**:Talent for delivering insights-driven reporting and distilling complex information for senior management.
- **Industry Insight**:Significant experience within the superannuation or financial services industries, particularly with industry funds and group insurance.
