One of our clients, a local council within the Caufield area, is looking for a Care Crew Team Member to join their passionate team.

This Job is a casual role, however, will be for 38 hours per week and could lead onto gaining a full-time contract.

Your shift will start at 7.00am and will end at 4.00pm

Pay Rate: $33.65 Per Hour + Superannuation.

The position is designed to facilitate the effective cleansing, removal of graffiti and litter and assist in high pressure wash of decorative footpaths in all the shopping strips, places and spaces and adjacent Council car parks across the municipality.

**You will Need**:
A current Victorian Drivers Licence with current Heavy Rigid Licence (**Essential**).

Valid Working with Childrens Check (**Essential**)

Valid Forklift Licence (**Essential**)

Bobcat Licence and experience (preferred)

Ability to competently use equipment, materials and techniques involved in cleaning public spaces.

**You will be**:
Removal of litter including cigarette butts and animal/bird droppings from footpaths, gutters, car parks, garden beds and under street furniture.

When required assist graffiti team to pressure wash of decorative surfaces within activity centres and adjacent places and spaces.

Keep areas around garden beds free of mulch, and report if mulch needs replenishing.

Control of weeds by removal or chemical means as required.

Report diseased or unhealthy plants and missing or dead plants for replacement.

Cleaning of Council Street furniture including bins, bin tops and surrounds, benches and bike racks.

Removal of graffiti from shop fronts (where prior approval has been obtained) and street furniture primarily through wiping down with chemicals and painting over. From time to time this may also include pressure spray washing.

Reporting of defects to street furniture to Signage, Street Furniture and Graffiti Removal Co-ordinator that requires immediate attention.

Reporting diseased or unhealthy plants

Please Note - a Police Check, WWCC and Covid Vaccination status will all need to be obtained upon placement.
