**About the Client**
Our client is a well-established family-owned business with a 30-year history in designing, manufacturing, selling, and hiring specialist trucks to the private and public sectors. Their innovative product development is done entirely in Australia, and they specialize in stemming and water trucks for mining and road maintenance.

**The Role**
Our respective client is seeking a skilled fitter who can fabricate, and weld as needed for the position of
**Fabricator**. The Fabricator will report directly to the Product Manager and the position is located in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane, Queensland.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Read and understand assembly drawings and follow workshop procedures for job logon, drawing and BOM updates.
- Responsible for assembling new equipment such as conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, various pumps, and pneumatic systems, and occasionally conducting maintenance on existing equipment.
- Additionally, it may be required to help with fabrication work, primarily using Mild Steel MIG and occasionally using Aluminum TIG (experience not required).
- Comply with OSH/WHS requirements.

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in using fabrication equipment and tools, such as welding machines, cutting torches, and grinders.
- Experience in fabricating and welding various metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Knowledge of different welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to fabrication and welding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with other team members, clients, and vendors.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and processes to improve skills and efficiency.
