Type : Part-Time Term : Temporary Physical Education TeacherPosition Details St John Paul II Catholic Primary School is a small school with a big heart catering for children from Pre-kindy to Year 6.
We are proudly a mulitucultural school and endeavour to live out our motto "In Harmony".
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional, passionate and dedicated Physical Education teacher to join our community.
The successful applicant will teach PE from Kindergarten to Year 6 over 3 days.
This is a part-time temporary position commencing 1/1/26 until 31/12/26, with a high possibility of ongoing.
Selection Criteria Fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.Create and maintain relevant planning and assessment records in line with SCSA requirements.
An ability to deliver to high quality PE lessons.
Ability to coordinate Cross-country, Sports and Athletics Carnivals and work with schools in our region to facilitate inter-school events and competitions.
Nurture positive and respectful relationships with students, staff and parents.
Create a safe, welcoming and collaborative learning environment, encouraging students to stay active, build resilience, work as a team, and develop a lifelong love of health and movement.
Qualifications Required Relevant four year tertiary qualification Registered with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia A valid Working with Children Check Card in Western Australia Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School (or working towards) Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae, addressed to the Principal, including the names and contact numbers of three referees, one of whom must be the current employer.
