**Maths and English Tutors Needed for Tutoring Centre Located in Five Dock**

Aptitude Education is a tutoring centre currently offering both small group and individual tutoring to Preschool to Year 8 students. We provide tutors with high level professional and administrative support. With an increasing number of clients seeking our services, we need more great tutors.

**Requirements for Tutors**:

- A passion for making a difference in student's lives and an encouraging approach.
- Reliability - we need to our tutors to be committed to providing quality tutoring to our clients
- Reliable transport
- Be personable and easy to get along with.
- Availability to work at least four hours per week
- A strong command of the English language.
- Some tutoring/coaching experience would be a bonus
- University students must be studying Maths at a university level as part of a degree if you are not enrolled in an education degree.

**Responsibilities of Tutors**:

- Conduct scheduled lessons with individual students and groups
- Report progress of students
- Collaborate to formulate a plan and strategy for students based on their needs
- Seek help from us if and when you need it

**Ideal Previous Experience or Similar Positions**

If you have any experience with teaching and tutoring in the past that is a bonus. On the job training can be provided. Any university students doing an education degree would also be a bonus.

**Job Types**: Casual, Part-time

**Salary**: From $26.00 per hour
