Degree-qualified with CA/CPA progression or completion to CTA or Masters of Tax would be beneficial.
5+ years' experience with a solid tax compliance background and tax technical knowledge, including writing and presenting detailed tax advice to clients, and the ability to conduct independent research and decipher legislation.
Experience managing a portfolio of tax compliance and advisory clients, with the ability to understand client needs and deliver high levels of client service.
Leadership is a key component; you will lead and mentor your team, fostering professional development, upskilling, and expanding technical knowledge.
Strong, proactive, solutions-oriented approach to support clients and teams' needs; will be rewarded with a competitive salary and a great working environment, exposure to a broad range of tax topics, and commitment to professional development.
Responsibilities
Integral to the role will be the provision of seamless taxation advisory and compliance services to a range of clients across a broad range of sectors.
The role provides a balanced mix of compliance and advisory, with opportunities to expand your skills and tax technical knowledge.
Experience with Australian tax advice and solutions for private and public corporate clients in a specialist corporate tax division or a business services team with a strong tax focus is essential.
Experience across income tax, GST, employment and state taxes is advantageous but not essential.
