**About the role**:
As a Product Owner. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, Architects to design, build, implement and test quality technical or functional solutions.

**What you will be doing**:
As a Product Owner you will:

- Gain a thorough understanding of product strategy, market, industry, and client goals.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into user stories.
- Articulate product vision and user stories in a manner clearly understandable to development teams.
- Manage backlog of user stories for one or more projects/features.
- Establish user story acceptance criteria, accepts user stories, refines stories with Scrum teams.
- Create Sprint Release Plans with input from development teams.
- Monitor the development progress and provides updates to stakeholders as requested.
- Lead planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements.
- Interact with product owners and product managers to define/translate requirements and modifications into product designs

**What you will need**:

- A sound knowledge of financial services industry
- General IT knowledge, be able to communicate technical concepts concisely and effectively.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts
- Sound analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- A high degree of numeracy and a capacity for complex concepts.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently under minimum supervision
- Ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines and effectively prioritise concurrent tasks

**Added Bonus if you have**:

- A background in Corporate treasury, finance knowledge, payment processing or banking is a big plus.
- The Certified Scrum Product Owner professional certification is preferred
- Experience in a SaaS environment.
- Experience with the agile development process
