Fantastic opportunity for an Azure Service Manager who will be responsible for working across our Azure estate (including; Power Platforms, Integration Services, and Data & Analytics) the role of Azure Service Manager involves taking a people, process, and technology-based approach to address key business challenges for our Microsoft ecosystem. You'll aim to improve business controls, complexity reduction and operational excellence, whilst being mindful of quality and efficiency to keep pace with Metcash change.

As Metcash continues on our journey through our digital transformation across the organisation you will be challenged to understand and respond to varied business needs and work with internal and external stakeholders to rapidly enhance the internal capabilities needed to continuously improve operational performance with a focus on extracting as much value as possible across the Microsoft ecosystem.

What you'll do

Design cloud environments from a holistic point of view aligned with the latest security and compliance requirements utilising Microsoft best practice.
Working with Architects and Partners, implement and manage the Azure estate utilising Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework (Reliability, Security, Cost Optimisation, Operational Excellence and Performance Efficiency)
Deliver technology strategies, roadmaps, and designs, oversight, and governance of deployments, and work closely with the Technical and Operations team members.
Take a lead with the Microsoft Azure engagement to ensure we are taking advantage of all of Microsoft's training, support and other offerings

What you'll bring

Working knowledge of Azure Data technologies (e.g. Synapse, Data Factory, Data Bricks, Data Lakes, Spark, ML, Cognitive Services, Power BI).
Experience in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
Proven experience working in DevOps environments with MS core platforms and integrated external systems and 3rd party technologies
