And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.YOUR ROLE Working at our site in you will learn on the job and study to gain your Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and an A Class Electrical Licence upon successful completionSome of the key activities you will be involved in include: Conducting preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement activities on equipmentLearning how to test, fault find, alter and repair electrical equipment, including electrical wiring workInterpret drawings, wiring diagrams and manufacturers specificationsCompleting risk assessments and identify underperforming plant equipment for further analysisOUR BENEFITS Long-term, secure career paths in an industry that is contributing to the protection of Australia's SovereigntyAll PPE Provided - Uniforms cleaned and kept on-siteOn-site parking & subsidised caféSocial club that gathers for social events throughout the yearLeading leave policies including Parental & VeteransGym Membership (Fitness passport)Family Support through our partnership with Parents at WorkEmployee discounts with a number of affiliates (Travel, Car hire, Tech)YOUR EXPERIENCE The most important attribute for the role is a great attitude and willingness to learn, but you will also need to: Have completed year 11 studies at a minimum (by the end of 2025)Have great communication skills and enjoy interacting with different groups of peopleBe able to complete maths problems and put this to use in the workplaceWe will consider transfers of 1/2/3rd year apprentices as well as school leaversAUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITYPlease note, security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
