About Us: At the City of Gold Coast, we provide health and well-being services at our aquatic centres, including learn-to-swim programs, school swimming programs and carnivals, squad swimming, diving programs, pools, fitness centres, and aqua classes.
About The Learn To Swim Team: We value our team culture and share positive feedback from current team members about the work environment and growth opportunities.
About The Role: You will deliver high-quality learn-to-swim and school swimming lessons, promote water safety, and create engaging learning experiences for children and adults. There are opportunities for both weekday and weekend shifts, including school swimming sessions from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm on weekdays. About You:
You have a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification.
Passionate about water safety and making learning to swim enjoyable and informative.
You have a flair for working with children and their guardians, with energetic and engaging communication.
You tailor lessons to individual needs to maximise benefit and enjoyment.
You are committed to the progression of students and delivering high-quality instruction.
You are eager to grow and open to feedback.
Teacher of Infants and Toddlers accreditation is highly desirable.
Availability to work weekends is essential.
