**Marketing Consultant - Investments**

- The Marketing Consultant - Investments, is responsible for creation and execution of B2B marketing campaigns to build Mercer's brand, drive demand and engage/retain clients in the investments line of business.
- The main focus will be on generating awareness and revenue streams for our products and services to reach set targets across lead generation, engagement and ultimately, growth.

**We will count on you to**:

- Work with client teams to increase retention of current business and expand share of wallet from existing clients.
- Design effective, issues-focused campaigns - creative execution, message design, channel selection and segmentation.
- Support retention and growth through the delivery of effective events, including webinars, and partnerships/sponsorships of key client events.Work with key thought leaders within the business to generate research reports and thought leadership.
- Obtain and analyse campaign results for continuous improvement.
- Research and understand target audiences in conjunction with appropriate stakeholders.
- Establish campaign performance metrics and monitor campaign performance, continually looking for ways to improve demand generation and revenue outcomes.
- Evaluate new indirect sales and marketing approaches which may include account based marketing, digital (primarily), social media, demand generation and new external business relationships.

**What you need to have**:

- Ideally 2+ years' experience marketing investments in a B2B or B2B2C environment
- Demonstrable results in generating brand awareness, client engagement and growth
- Multichannel experience - social media, events, digital, advertising etc.
- Background in marketing for Funds Management or Investments ideally, and a working knowledge of the institutional investment landscape in Australia
- Have a passion for marketing
- Have an interest in innovation and doing things better
- Have a willingness to constantly challenge the status quo and speak up
- Be a confident communicator, able to work with and effectively manage a diverse range of stakeholders. Copywriting skills would be a bonus.
- Have outstanding presentation, written and verbal communication, engagement and interpersonal skills.
- Have excellent project management skills.
- Be able to work under pressure and have the skills to manage crisis communication and risk management.
