**About the opportunity**

We're looking for a **Freight Handler** to join our diverse and hard-working team at our friendly StarTrack facility in Yandina. With e-commerce booming, our freight handlers are the folks making sure consignments are correctly loaded so we can get deliveries out to our customers, fast.

This role works Mon-Friday on a perm, part time basis working 35 hours a week - 7am-2.30pm with overtime on occasion. The pay is $31.26/hr + 12% super and overtime rates.

**You'll be**
- Using your strong work ethic to help us keep delivering great service.
- Handloading parcels and cartons from conveyor belts into trucks, ready for our drivers to head out on the road.
- Unloading trucks when drivers get back to the warehouse.
- Wrapping freight by hand or using a shrink wrapper (you know - like the ones at the airport), electronically scanning parcels and updating documentation.

**About you**
- You're fit and can lift at least 30kg repeatedly - we assess this at a pre-employment medical check to help make sure you're safe on the job.
- You're laser focused, even when the role gets repetitive.
- You're a team player, passionate about helping our team keep the community connected.
- If you've got a forklift licence that's a plus, since this comes handy moving freight around the warehouse.
