Plant Management Leader
The Plant Management Leader is a strategic role responsible for overseeing the safety, quality, and productivity of the plant. This position works closely with plant management and employees to ensure compliance with production schedules, standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, regulatory laws, and corporate specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the strategic direction of the facility as a member of the operations team.
Ensure the manufacturing team is staffed appropriately to meet business requirements.
Mentor, train, and coach facility leadership team members to understand their roles within the organization.
Participate in core leadership processes such as budget development, leader standard work, employee onboarding, succession planning, and horizon planning.
Establish Key Performance Indicators to measure performance of the division and manufacturing facilities.
Foster communication between facility and corporate to implement customer requests, respond to complaints, and provide excellent customer service.
Champion a culture of cross-functional ownership for food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all levels of the plant.
Cultivate an innovative, data-driven, team-oriented culture that embraces continuous improvement within an environment of learning.
Support leaders focused on optimizing the use of business integration systems to drive productivity.
Enable team members to improve equipment reliability using industry-standard tools such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Preventive Maintenance, and Predictive Maintenance.
Requirements:
8-10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing management with multi-plant experience desired.
Supervisory experience or demonstrated people leadership attributes.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Physical Requirements:
Lift 50 lb./25 kg bags or drums during the batching and bagging process.
Regulatory Requirements:
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, follow CGMP's, and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
