**The purpose of the Assistant in Nursing (AIN) role is**:

- Provision of support to the nursing team in the delivery of nursing care in an acute care environment as directed by the Registered Nurse
- Provide direct care activities to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Assist Registered and Enrolled Nurses with patient care interventions as directed
- Contribute to collecting accurate health care information and maintaining accurate health care documentation as required

**You should also possess**:

- **A Certificate III in Health Service Assistance or equivalent qualification.**:

- Able to work on the Agedcare, Acute care wards & medicalwards.
- Availability for a **flexible roster covering all 7 days of the week.**:

- Self-motivated and capable of working efficiently following directions.

**Mandatory Requirements**
- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases.

Pay: From $29.55 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)
