This is a full-time ongoing position.Role DescriptionSt Francis Catholic College is a co-educational, multi-campus secondary school governed by MACS.
The College is expanding and aims to provide strong learning and wellbeing programs in a faith-filled environment.
The successful applicant will contribute to Catholic education and support student growth across Year 7–12.ResponsibilitiesDeliver Italian teaching to secondary students across appropriate year levels.Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with staff, students, parents/guardians, and the broader school community.Apply effective planning, communication, decision-making and negotiation skills.Utilise best practices in teaching and learning and lead by example in managing people and resources.Contribute to building capacity in others and supporting student engagement and achievement.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification.A strong commitment to Catholic education.Ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.Ability to create an engaging, educational, and challenging learning environment that caters to all students.Willingness to learn and apply a differentiated curriculum; proficient use of modern technology to support learning.Special RequirementsCommitment to safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children; demonstrate understanding of providing a safe environment for children.Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or ability to obtain).
