Based in our Support Centre in Milton, this role reports to the Finance Manager, collaborating and consulting with all Community Service Managers, Executives, Operations and Finance teams.

**About the role**:
The objective of the Finance Partner - Community and Disability Services is to provide financial and management accounting advice that supports the delivery of Lutheran Services Strategic goal.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Work collaboratively with the corporate finance team in end of month procedures
- Partner with Community Services Managers, providing high quality monthly reporting and analysis to improve decision making and performance.
- Provide financial input to proposed business cases and develop financial models for in depth analysis.
- Work in conjunction with Planning, Reporting and Analysis Manager preparing annual budgets/forecasts.
- Complete financial accounting responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Train, develop and commit to continuous improvement, - developing team members and staff in best process and practice.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Finance Manager in the maintenance of the Fixed asset register.
- Actively participate in the annual audit.

**About you**:

- You will possess a University qualification in Business, Finance or Accounting
- 3-5 years' experience in Accounting
- Ideally you will be CPA qualified or be studying towards this
- Experience within a Not for Profit or Aged Care organisation advantageous
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
