Play-Safe Services is a family-owned business, located in Carrum Downs, Victoria (south eastern suburbs). We specialise in maintenance and installation of sports and playground equipment with schools and councils. We are expanding our servicing/maintenance team and are looking to hire a suitable member to join us. Would suit someone who likes working outside and diversity in their job each day.

Key Selling Points:

- Exciting growth industry
- Permanent 4 Day week - Monday - Thursday (34 - 36hrs per week)
- $30 - $35 per hour (pending experience/qualifications) + Superannuation
- Immediate start

Individual requirements;
- Self motivated
- Positive attitude
- Likes working small teams or on their own
- Mechanically and practically minded, with good problem solving skills
- Able to manage the physical aspects of working with playground and sports equipment
- Likes regular job diversity
- Good organizational,, time management and documentation skills
- Takes pride in their work - getting it right first time and every time

Would suit someone who has worked in a landscaping or general maintenance/handyperson role, on the tools and can work with other trades on small or large projects.

Core objectives include:

- Competent in installation, refurbishment and servicing work (playgrounds/sporting equipment) - on and off site
- General landscaping including concreting, turfing (synthetic and rubber), retaining walls, mulching, planting
- Shade sail installation work
- Light tool work ie drills, angle grinders, routers
- Mentoring/training of junior staff
- Contributing to the successful achievement of servicing stream targets and goals

Skills within the fields of landscaping, carpentry, equipment assembly and concreting advantageous.

Essential requirements;
- Covid19 Vaccination Certificate
- Working with Children's Card (or ability to have one organised prior to commencement)
- Current full drivers license
- Transferrable skills work experience 2-3 years

Preferred requirements;
- Skid Steer License
- Excavator License
- Working at Heights
- Truck License
- Fork Lift License

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 34-36 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Annual bonus
- Christmas bonus
- Performance bonus

Play-Safe Services has a COVID Safe Plan in place which all staff are required to comply with

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
