Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts to understand business needs and develop robust requirements for solution design.
Technical Architecture: Design technical solutions aligned to architectural standards, select platforms/tools/architectural patterns, and create system diagrams detailing components, interactions, and technologies.
Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend technologies considering existing stack, maintenance costs, and future scalability.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to development teams, ensure adherence to architecture and security standards, and act as point of contact for technical decisions.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences; present design, benefits, and risks to align stakeholders.
Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring a robust solution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Financial Domain Knowledge: Foundational understanding of equities, fixed income, derivatives, and other financial instruments.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with technologies critical to the financial sector, including low-latency systems, integration, cloud computing, data and analytics, regulatory knowledge, and problem-solving.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to bridge between traders, compliance, and technical teams and explain solutions, trade-offs, and risks to non-technical stakeholders.
