We're looking for an **Experienced Forklift Operator** to join our friendly and professional operations team in Altona, VIC.

You'll be responsible for the loading/unloading of interstate linehaul, safely in compliance with Mass Management and Load Restraint Guidelines. You'll be required to verify, document and check accuracy of consignments, weights, dangerous goods compatibility, destination labels (state / onforwarding, ect ) and arrange efficient and effective loading/unloading of local PUD fleet, articulately following best-practice processes for compliance, improvement of procedures and maintaining superior organisational standards in customer care.

**Skills and experience**
- Experience in Linehaul Loading / Forklift (**Essential)**:

- Sound knowledge of Mass Management / Weight Distribution
- Demonstrate understanding of Load Restraint Guidelines.
- Comply with all WHS regulations and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Knowledge of hand-held scanning equipment.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Handling (Advantageous)
- A high focus on safety, compliance and reliability.
- Enthusiastic and energetic team player.
- Ability to maintain operational working hours.
