Add expected salary to your profile for insightsHead of UX DesignFull Time OpportunityAs Head of UX Design, you will play a critical role in our Product Engineering team, partnering with other leaders to engage stakeholders throughout the business in establishing a robust user experience design practice that permeates through everything we do.You will:Develop and communicate a compelling user-centred design vision and strategyMentor and coach your team to help integrate this design consistently and efficiently to meet business objectivesChampion design excellence, ensuring high standards of quality, creativity and innovationContribute to product discoveryWork as part of the Product Engineering leadership team to embed a product-led culture across the companyAct as design advocate with the organisation, promoting the value of design and influencing key stakeholders to support design initiativesWhat you will bring to the team:Strong experience as a leader in the design spaceProven experience in a senior design leadership role, preferably as a 'head of' or similar, in a product centric organisationDemonstrable experience in product discovery and understanding of the end-to-end life cycle in a product centric organisation and how effective design can influence thisA strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual and interaction design, service design, user research and creating design systemsExcellent collaboration and influencing skills, particularly with regard to working cross-functionally and with executive leadersHighly developed leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in leading a team of UX designersStrong familiarity with the Life Insurance industry (desirable)Our Promise to Our PeopleWe are passionate about our core values of Customer First, We Care, One Team, and Results Driven, which define how we approach our work.We recognise that our colleagues are the key to our success.
