Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.
In this business-critical role, you will be providing hands-on maintenance services to our production teams, who operate within a continuous manufacturing environment.

You will achieve this by:isolating equipment and performing corrective maintenance on the machinesinspecting equipment and identifying faults, taking necessary actions to repair theseresponding to and resolving machine breakdowns with a sense of urgencyplanning and coordinating shutdowns for scheduled and unscheduled maintenancecontinually seeking opportunities to improve our maintenance strategiesMore about youWe are on the lookout for dedicated team players and being a qualified Industrial Fitter, you will bring:demonstrated experience in the repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment including machine rebuilds and improvementsmachining experience: Lathe and Milling machineexperience in alignment: motors, pumps, gearboxes, pulleys, belts, chainsexperience in Hydraulic & Pneumatic circuits and componentsWhy BlueScopeAs we're creating strength for the future through our people, products and solutions, BlueScope supports you to build your expertise within a safe and positive team environment.
