ABOUT THE ROLE
Join G+D as our Senior Procurement Support Lead and drive innovative procurement strategies that focus on security and confidence.
You will lead procurement processes, optimize ERP systems, manage contracts, and develop supplier relationships to support our growth in the Australian market.
Your responsibilities
Lead and develop the procurement team to ensure growth, compliance, and excellence
Manage ERP systems to ensure their optimal performance and continuous improvement
Negotiate and manage contracts to protect G+D's interests
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for efficient procurement cycles
Align procurement strategies with overall business goals across departments
Oversee procurement budgets to ensure cost-effective spending
Lead innovative projects to anticipate market shifts
Ensure procurement decisions meet quality and compliance standards
Balance customer needs with internal requirements in procurement strategies
About you
At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a global company
Strong skills in contract negotiation, ERP systems, and procurement processes
Proven leadership ability to mentor and inspire teams
Analytical skills to navigate complex procurement landscapes
Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and supplier engagement
Relevant tertiary qualification; certifications in supply chain or procurement management are advantageous
