Work for a **local council **as a **customer service officer**, working either **fulltime or part time **hours as a casual.

**Pay rate**:$31.45 to $33.76 per hour as a casual

**About Our Clients and Roles**

We have various positions and an ongoing need for casuals at both full and part time capacities to work in Local Councils in their Customer Service Centres (will be up to 38 hours per week, between 3-5 days per week).

Customer Support Officers are to provide quality, accurate, efficient and effective customer support and assistance as apart of the customer care teams within local councils.

**Your primary responsibilities will include**:

- Deliver a positive customer experience through face-to-face contact at service locations and at a dedicated call centre via telephone and other electronic media sources.
- Resolve customer enquiries and complaints
- Develop positive and cooperative working relationships with customers and peers
- Undertake administrative responsibilities (including processing payments) to ensure transactions are processed timely and accurately.

**The Successful Applicant will have**:

- Experience in providing excellence in customer service in a complex environment (call centre or the like)
- Experience in range of computer systems
- Have a valid Working with Children Check
- Have a valid Police Check
- Have a valid Driver's Licence
- Being fully COVID-19 vaccinated

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Rotating roster
