The Opportunity
As Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for end-to-end project management of complex capital works projects across the LGA, from feasibility through to construction and completion. Working within a collaborative and future-focused team, you'll deliver projects that enhance public spaces, improve infrastructure, and support sustainable urban growth.
Key Responsibilities
Ability to manage large infrastructure project across building and open space. Develop detailed project plans aligned with a structured project management frameworkManage consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to scopeConduct feasibility assessments, prepare business cases and lead stakeholder engagement processesOversee procurement, contract management and tender documentationAct as Superintendent or client representative on site-based worksEnsure all projects meet safety, environmental and quality standards
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Urban Design, Planning, Landscape Architecture, or similarDemonstrated experience delivering capital works or public realm projects in local government or consultancyExcellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise effectivelyStrong understanding of procurement, contract administration, and regulatory complianceConfident communicator with excellent written and verbal presentation skills
