**The Opportunity**:
Since 1988 MIGAS Apprentices & Trainees has employed, trained and mentored thousands of Australians through an apprenticeship career pathway. We specialise in traditional trades disciplines with an extensive footprint around Australia supporting large and small business clients in manufacturing, engineering, electrical, automotive, agriculture, and energy.

Now we are excited to recruit for our own finance team for a Finance Administration Traineeship position located in **Milton**.

**Job Details**:
We are looking for someone who can efficiently and effectively provide various administrative support to our finance team.

You will be mentored by industry professionals while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework
- provided by our very own Registered Training Organisation (RTO) MiTraining.

Undertaking this **12-month traineeship** and **BSB30120 Certificate III in Business **will allow you to put theory into practice and gain valuable experience in the workplace to set you up for a successful business career.

In this traineeship you will learn how to:

- Process weekly end to end payroll
- Investigate and resolve payroll related questions
- Understand how employment Awards and agreements work.
- Communicate and respond to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare invoices using software
- Provide general administrative assistance and support to the Finance team.

**About you**:
We're looking for motivated applicants committed to completing a formal qualification in Business Administration.
- Good problem solving skills
- A mature and responsible work ethic
- Sound computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Have the desire to learn and have a positive attitude
- A strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Police Check
