**We are looking for Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team at Pier One Sydney Harbour. **This role is suited for someone who has a passion for service delivery, quality and excellent customer service.

**Based in the Sydney Harbour we need your flexibility to fill the gaps that are needed across a busy and well-established hotel operation which may include some of the following tasks**:

- Leadership amongst the team - this will include stepping in for the housekeeping manager from time to time
- Service of guest rooms
- Provide assistance in guest facing areas
- Provide solutions to efficiency roadblocks
- Compliance amongst the team
- Practice and monitor safe workplace standards

**To be the shining star we would need you to have**:

- A demonstrated passion for your role and the industry through your engagement and initiatives
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager
- A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a highly pressured and rapidly changing environment
- High organisational standards and attention to details
- A demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with industry, clients and team members
- Strong understanding of rostering, productivity and budgeting
- Strong understanding of WH&S compliance
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
- A positive and can-do attitude amongst the team
- Time management and efficient work habits
- A flexible work and rostering schedule, with the ability work weekends and public holidays
- The ability to retain team members and build a strong team environment, motivating team members effectively and bringing out their best each day
