Cloud Infrastructure Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.
Job Description:
You will play a critical role in deploying, supporting, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively develop and implement cloud infrastructure that supports hosted applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cloud infrastructure that supports hosted applications and services.
Build automation leveraging CI/CD processes, automated testing, unit testing, code coverage, and other software development best practices.
Optimize platform performance through analyzing server performance analysis and diagnostic logs.
Implement cloud security measures and controls in alignment with industry standard best practice and compliance requirements.
Regularly assess and remediate vulnerabilities and threats to the cloud infrastructure using automation.
Partner with key stakeholders to establish technical direction and negotiate technical decision points to drive innovative and modern solutions.
Maintain detailed documentation of data flow, infrastructure architecture, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in platform engineering with a focus on cloud solutions (Azure & AWS).
Strong understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices.
Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities; Available on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events.
Ability to meet standards of quality, security, and operability.
