The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to own Showpo's Data & Analytics function with the opportunity to work on exciting projects and knowledge share across our wider team. With the aim of improving processes and enabling our teams to be the most efficient and data informed they can be, you will be collaborative in style and a true problem solver

**Day to day, you will**:

- Data collection, integration, cleaning, reporting & insights at Showpo
- Supporting commercial outcomes through the best use of data
- Project management of various mid to long term projects within Showpo
- Use data & insights to optimise websites and apps to maximise trading performance
- Provide input and data based recommendations to assist with our SEO efforts
- Data analysis across functions - work across different functions at Showpo to ensure useful information is readily available to the team and that critical, data-driven decisions are being made
- Forecasting & modelling - utilising data sources to make forecasts / predictions. Building up models to deliver actionable insights to key decision-makers
- Business case analysis & preparation - supporting the team by providing relevant data & analysis when preparing business cases
- Reporting & dashboarding - collating data, preparing & automating reports / dashboards to give the broader team visibility across their business function in real-time
- Data integration - identify gaps in our data, and work with the Dev team to integrate necessary data into our data warehouse
- Management of 2x offshore Data Analysts

**Who are you?**:

- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Google BigQuery (or similar platforrms)
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4.0
- Critical thinking and problem solving - first principles approach
- Project Management experience/qualification highly regarded
- Prior experience in Data Analysis/advanced analytics
- Prior experience in managing a person or team
- Collaborative approach to tasks
- Strong grasp of statistical concepts
- Autonomous and commercially minded
