About Equis:Equis is Asia-Pacific's leading renewable energy and waste infrastructure investor, developer and operator with a successful track of record of having invested in over 200 renewable and clean energy projects across the region.With offices in Australia, Singapore, Japan and Korea, Equis is focused on investing, developing, constructing and operating primary and hybrid renewable energy (Utility Scale BESS, Wind Power), transmission and waste infrastructure assets in Australia, Japan and South Korea.Title: Junior AnalystLocation: Melbourne, AustraliaQualifications: Applicants must be tertiary qualified or currently undergoing their tertiary qualifications.
Prior experience in a top tier bank, accounting advisory or private equity firm will be viewed favorably.Responsibilities:Perform in-depth research, analysis and present:Fundamentals/overview of potential investmentsGeneral industry research to assist in the identification of opportunitiesRisks evaluation and mitigations of potential investmentsSupport deal execution including financial analysis, due diligence, documentation and financingSupport asset management functions including regular asset reporting to key stakeholdersSupport key functions and other ad-hoc of the Melbourne office, including supporting the senior professionals as requiredPreferred Attributes:Financial modelling skills will be viewed upon favorablyTransaction experience in evaluating and undertaking due diligence for new investment opportunitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishStrong academic qualifications in math, engineering, finance or accountancyStrong Excel skillsStrong proficiency in PowerPoint and WordIndependent and critical thinker with strong analytical abilityExceptional eye for detailPositive and driven to perform/excelAbility to remain calm under pressureExceptional presentation, interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to confidently interact with senior management, investors and peersHOW TO APPLYApply to this job by sharing your CV via LinkedIn.MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE JOBJob Type: 3-month contractLocation: Brighton, MelbourneWork hours: Flexible work hours meeting industry standard****As a company that values diversity as a source of talent, we work to foster an inclusive environment that promotes respect, belonging and engagement so that all people can participate on an equal opportunity basis.
