**Am I suited to being an Employment Consultant with APM's Port Mandurah office?**

We welcome people from various backgrounds, we find people who have great client relationship skills from retail, call centre operators, hospitality, consulting, business development or anything similar can be a great fit. We provide full training, and we'll help you turn your skills into a new career in Employment Services.

You love working in a productive and collaborative environment and want to bring your drive and passion to a role where you are enabling better lives. You're good at building relationships - and that will allow you to work with key stakeholders to maximise job opportunities for people with a disability. You'll also enjoy helping colleagues so that we can achieve great results and make a difference, together. This is a role where you can help others develop skills, build confidence, step outside of their comfort zone and into employment.

**The role will involve...**

We lift people up, supporting them in employment, independence and improved wellbeing. It's exciting, challenging, inclusive and rewarding. You will be helping people who have an injury, illness or disability become work ready and find suitable and sustainable employment in the Mandurah area.
- Building relationships with employers and community organisations
- Actively marketing your job seekers to potential employers
- Helping job seekers identify their skills, abilities and suitable roles
- Increasing job seekers' capacity for employment (through training, referral to counselling or other support services, coaching in job search skills)
- Creating and implementing a clear pathway to employment for job seekers through Job Plans
- Full time role working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

**To be considered, you will have...**
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Willing to complete a Criminal History Check and able to pass a Working with Children Check
