Inspired learning. Empowering young women of integrity. We are seeking an enthusiastic, talented teaching professional to join our Music faculty as a bass guitar tutor. This will involve teaching 1:1 extra-curricular bass guitar. This position is an immediate start comprising 1 day per week teaching. Experience working in a school environment is desirable but not a prerequisite. This position has the capacity to grow.

**Description**:
The key responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to):
delivering private tuition lessons to bass guitar students.
establishing safe and supportive learning environments.
liaising effectively with relevant staff at Kambala.
delivering a high level of tutoring services.
managing student behaviour by engaging students in purposeful and worthwhile learning activities.
remaining committed to child protection and contributing to meeting the child safe program standards.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**We are looking for a tutor who**:
has a natural rapport with staff and girls;
has the ability to teach advanced students with high level musical and technical skills;
has the ability to engage students and inspire them to achieve the best results;
has extensive experience playing the bass guitar and teaching others;
is able to organise private lesson schedules and liaise with parents;
will actively support the ethos of this Anglican Independent School; and
has a commitment to ongoing professional learning.
